An early 20th century De La Rue & Cos travelling casket inkwell. Nickel plated inkwell with hinged lid and sprung button catch. Complete with ink bottle (empty). Hinged outer casket with circular window to front, showing the De La Rue name as on the inkwell, and a larger rectangular window to reverse for standing the inkwell in giving stability for travelling. Total size approx. 5.5cm x 4cm x 2.5cm.
