A Georgian silver rectangular cushion form snuff box By William Pugh. Engraved circular, cross and twist pattern throughout and to both ends. Silver gilt interior with hallmarks to both lid and base Birmingham 1810. Approx. 6.5 x 3.5 x 1.5cm. Total weight approx. 42.6g.
In very good condition with no splits or cracks to the metal and no denting or significant scratching. Hinge is in good order and lid shuts well, fitting snuggly, although once shut, one end can be pushed down a little further when pressure is applied. The interior gilt is a little worn and as per the additional images, there is some scratching evident to the interior.
