A British MkIV steel helmet shell with painted Eirin Go Bragh (Ireland Forever) slogan. Believed to have been used by the Royal Ulster Constabulary (RUC) in the Northern Ireland troubles. Rear apron has projectile damage and hand painted slogan with Irish harp and shamrock in silver. Helmet stamped ROCo 1953. With thick green chinstrap which suggests this helmet was fitted out as a MkV i.e sock type liner. Being sold as part of a private collection.
