A British MkII WWII Home Front steel helmet painted cream with 2 longitudinal black bands and labelled CS for Clearing Station. Helmet stamped HBH 1939 and complete with liner and chinstrap. Liner with early oval stamped Vero 1938. Traces of previous label FAP (First Aid Party/Post) visible under paint. Being sold as part of a private collection.
